PhD Visit to the European Parliament in Brussels
14 July 2023
Some Students of the PhD Programme in "Business and Law. Institutions and business: value, rules and social responsibility", with their Coordinator, Prof. Nadia Maccabiani, took part in a visit to the European Parliament in Brussels, on 14th July 2023. From the Hemicycle, where plenary sessions are held, to the Parlamentarium, where – by means of interactive tools –the European integration path and the EU’s way of action are described, and the House of European History, the PhD students gained major awareness about the European institutional framework, its past and current challenges. Moreover, during the day, the PhD students also had the opportunity to meet Dr. Eadaoin Ni Chaoimh, member of the legal service of the European Parliament, for a valuable moment of dialogue, exchange and discussion that allowed them to deepen the issues related to the multifaceted (economic and legal) aspects implied in the EU decision-making process.
